The code is yours
Code, documentation and intellectual property are handed over at completion, along with the logins and the server access, written down so the next developer can pick it up cold.
We build with boring, well-supported tools on purpose, so any competent web developer could pick up what we leave and keep it running for you, with zero lock-in.
We are not building ourselves into your business. You should stay with us because the work is good, not because leaving is expensive.

Short-term websites need replacing every couple of years. We build the kind that does not. Clean structure, only the functionality that earns its place, and no bloated theme fighting your page speed.

How we work
Every build starts with planning, not code. We agree what the site has to do, what it will and will not include, how it connects to anything else you run, and what “finished” looks like, all before development begins. You get clear objectives, a real timeline and a scope that does not move underneath you.
Then we build in a controlled way, testing speed, responsiveness and stability as we go rather than at the end. You see working versions throughout, so launch day is the quiet confirmation of something you already watched come together, not a reveal.
After launch we are still here, for updates, improvements and technical support as the business changes. Most clients have us host and look after what we build, from £50 a month with monitoring and restore-tested backups. None of them have to.

Who you actually work with
BRNB is Brad and Nicole, and you deal with us directly, not an account manager relaying messages to a studio. Brad designs and builds, Nicole runs delivery, and you get a straight progress update every week instead of silence between invoices. Between us, twenty-plus years across IT consulting, software and web.
We trade from Longridge and work in person across Lancashire when a meeting beats a video call. We also run live builds day to day.
Template builds versus structured development
A lot of websites are assembled from off-the-shelf themes and a pile of plugins, or boxed into a system like Wix or Squarespace. It looks cheap on day one. Then the limitations arrive: slow pages, security you cannot control, and changes that should take an hour but cannot be made at all.
